Man leaning head on window and looking out

The Department of Justice is seeking to engage the services of appropriate organisations to provide support through initial contact, assessment, and case coordination of support to male victims of domestic and family violence (at ‘Threat’ and ‘Serious Threat’ risk of harm) in identified areas across NSW.

These areas will correspond to the proposed Safety Action Meeting (SAM) areas. Noting that while the initial contact and case coordination for male victims will be initially rolled out state wide, there will be a staged roll out of the establishment of SAMs (for those victims at 'Serious Threat' risk of harm).

The successful organisation will provide two services as the Local Support Service:

  • Initial phone contact and case coordination for male victims of domestic and family violence requiring support in the designated area(s) of NSW, and
  • Representation of the male victim(s) at ‘Serious Threat’ at SAMs as required, and as SAMs are rolled out across NSW.

Closing date: 28 September 2017, 11.00am
