Applications are now open for OneHeath’s Community Health Consultancy Grant. This grant offers one-off pro bono consultancy services for capacity building projects to address the complex socio-economic or lifestyle drivers of chronic disease and inequality.

Eligibility criteria:

The consultancy applied for in this grant is available for Australian-based projects working closely with communities in Australia or overseas. It must be for the benefit of a project aiming to support positive long-term health outcomes for disadvantaged and vulnerable communities.

Creating healthy communities is about much more than healthcare – healthy lifestyle, social wellbeing, employment, education and the environment all have a massive impact on our health and any transformative project needs to be taking these into account. We preference projects aimed at creating health through one of these pathways, however we also consider primary healthcare projects as long as they are taking a whole-person and whole-community approach to healthcare.

Grant priorities

  • Indigenous Health
  • Mental Health
  • Youth and Kids
  • Refugees and recent arrivals
  • Intergenerational Poverty

Closing date: 1 March 2018, 5.00pm
