Residents across Sydney’s western suburbs impacted by alcohol and other drug dependence will benefit from expanded free day-treatment services following the acquisition of Blacktown addiction counselling organisation Bridges by one of Australia’s largest rehabilitation providers, Odyssey House, based in south-western Sydney.

Make a difference in the life of Western Sydney residents by sharing your time as a friendly face and listening ear, assisting with shopping and transport to appointments. Volunteer by providing social support with a community and development service in Seven Hills and Wentworthville.

Is your drinking out of control? Have you thought about cutting back or quitting drinking? If so, you may be eligible to join our confidential study in monitoring and assisting in your alcohol detoxification program. You will receive routine care by Drug Health clinicians. The study is an outpatient trial which will be conducted at Westmead and Cumberland hospitals.
