The purpose of City of Parramatta Council Preventing Violence Against Women 2017 Grants program is for everyday services, organisations and groups in Parramatta LGA to develop and implement strategies and programs that promote gender equality and prevent violence against women. The grants program will provide 10 successful applicants

The Parramatta & District Historical Society is offering a number of events as part of the National Heritage Festival. The Festival was launched on 18 April by Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove and will run until 21 May. Events in the coming weeks include talks and walks in the local area. 

Library bookcases

The City of Parramatta is offering a large number of free good-quality second hand bookcases to local schools, charities, community groups, not for profits and social enterprises. The bookcases are is good used condition and will be available for collection in late May.
