The AICD has launched a not-for-profit scholarship program to be run in all states and territories in 2017–2018. The scholarships are being offered to directors and senior managers of NFP organisations who would otherwise be unable to attend governance education programs due to the financial constraints of the organisation.

The NFP scholarships are for specific courses held in each state and territory and will be available for a mixture of programs. The scholarships are applicable for a range of half-day and one-day courses designed to improve the governance knowledge and skills of directors and officers.

The scholarships are fully funded for organisations with a revenue turnover of less than $1 million and are half-funded for organisations with a turnover of between $1 million and $5 million.

Eligibility and selection criteria

  • Applicants must be directors and senior managers of NFP organisations who would otherwise be unable to attend governance education programs due to financial restraints.
  • Full scholarships will be awarded to NFP directors and senior managers of NFP organisations with a turnover below $1 million.
  • Half fee scholarships will be awarded to NFP directors and senior managers of NFP organisations with a turnover between $1 million and $5 million.
