A new research report, Collective giving and its role in Australian philanthropy, released by the Prime Minister's Community Business Partnership sheds light on the emergence of collective giving, a relatively new model of giving in Australia that involves individuals coming together and pooling their resources to fund social change.

The report, which was produced by Creative Partnership Australia, reveals the emerging trends in how people engage in philanthropy in Australia. The research draws on the experience of collective giving groups located across Australia and includes the perspectives of organisations that host giving groups as well as charities which received grants from the giving groups.
