Folders on a desk with one folder labelled 'legal services'

Community legal centres (CLCs) are independent community organisations that provide legal assistance to people and communities at the times that help is most needed. The directory can help you direct constituents facing issues such as economic disadvantage, hardship and various forms of discrimination to the legal services that can assist them. Issues that may involve a legal problem include things like:

  • Family and parenting arrangements
  • Neighbourhood disputes
  • Domestic / family violence
  • Housing and tenancy
  • Employment, pension or Centrelink issues
  • Consumer complaints or credit and debt problems
  • Traffic offences
