The Social Innovation Council has released an NGO Benchmarking Model to help not-for-profit organisations to test their performance and help drive innovation in the sector. Organisations can complete an online self-assessment to check their performance against the Model.

The sheet includes a worksheet to help providers assess areas where further work is needed, with a list of key issues and questions that your policy will need to cover in order to ensure that your service meets the needs of older people

The new topic provides information on the models of care for the end-of-life period. palliAGED is a free online resource that makes it easy to find and use palliative care evidence and practice resources in aged care.

It features advice and resources developed by young people for young people, including real stories, short films and advice designed to help young people create positive change online.

In addition, all Medicare card holders are now eligible for the Free Interpreting Service (FIS) in medical settings.
