Children painting with their hands

This year as part of NSW Children’s Week, ACYP is launching a design competition for all children and young people under the age of 18 in NSW. This is an opportunity for children and young people to engage their creative side; to draw, paint or digitally create a unique design.

Children and young people taking part have an opportunity to win a GoPro for themselves and one for their school/organisation/community group or club. The winning designs will be shown in Parliament House and will be transferred onto scarves and ties worn by NSW opinion leaders and copies will be provided to NSW Premier, the Hon. Gladys Berejiklian MP.

Over 4000 NSW children and young people have had their say on what is important to them, so ACYP is asking children and young people to take their inspiration from what their peers have said. The qualities of a good society that children and young people wanted are Safe, Connect, Respect, Opportunity, Wellbeing and Voice.

Competition closes: 13 October 2017
