New figures released by the Western Sydney Rail Alliance (WSRA) show that a north-south passenger rail network joining the new Western Sydney Airport at Badgerys Creek to Penrith in the north and Campbelltown in the south could add more than 350,000 new homes and almost 120,000 new jobs to the region.

These numbers, calculated by planning consultants Urbis, boost previous growth predictions for Western Sydney as one of the fastest growing regions, economies and populations in Australia. A north-south rail link will fast track this growth and deliver immense benefit to the communities surrounding the new Western Sydney Airport.
