Karabi Community & Development Services is seeking expressions of interest from motivated people who would like to become Management Committee Members. Karabi is a community-based organisation that provides a range of community services and activities that seek to increase access and opportunities for diverse community groups.

The role of the Management Committee is to provide strategic direction to and monitor the operations of Karabi to ensure that it:

  • Meets its objectives as specified in its Constitution
  • Remains a viable organisation, and
  • Meets legal requirements including those related to its legal status, funding, contractual arrangements, the employment/management of staff

The Management Committee is responsible for ensuring Karabi operates within its approved budget and in accordance with the policies and procedures set down and endorsed by the Management Committee.

People from Indigenous and CALD backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Karabi operates from three premises in Wentworthville, Seven Hills and Constitution Hill in Western Sydney.
