Join Parramatta Artists Studios for a night of tough issues as well as the humour and heartbreak that goes with it.

Hear from Julie Koh whose ground-breaking books Capital Misfits and Portable Curiosities tackle everything that makes us an anxious nation with a dose of satire. Multi-award-winning poet Lachlan Brown will read from his latest collection Lunar Inheritance that explores his Chinese-Australian heritage, his grandmother’s hoarding in Ashfield, and the contemporary development of Chinese cities. Winner of The Prime Minister’s Award for Literature, Felicity Castagna will read an excerpt from her latest novel No More Boats which tackles our relationship with our most anxiety-inducing national icon.

Stick around for end of year drinks with Studio Stories 2017’s writers and a performance by Finishing School Collective member Faith Chaza and celebrate a year of great storytelling.
