Reclink Australia Information Session
23 November 2017, 10.30am
Lake Parramatta Training Rooms

Reclink Australia is a national community organisation delivering evidence-based sport and art programs to disadvantaged Australians to create socially inclusive, life-changing opportunities. They work in partnership with community organisations to create pathways to improved health and wellbeing, education and employment outcomes for all participants.

The Federal Minister for Health, Hon Greg Hunt MP has recently announced $2,000,000 over 2 years to fund the Reclink National Program in 25 locations across Australia. Parramatta, Blacktown and Sydney have been identified as three of the key locations. The purpose of the Reclink National Program is to provide people experiencing disadvantage including mental health problem, addiction, homelessness, domestic violence and long-term unemployment to gain access to a range of no-cost or low-cost structured sport and recreation programs.

Reclink Australia is holding this information session and meeting to discuss the needs and ways to support the health and wellbeing of people experiencing disadvantage.
