Staying Connected When Emotions Run High

This workshop is suitable for parents, spouses, grandparents, foster carers, friends, young carers (over 16 years old if accompanied by an adult), and others who support someone (between 12 and 100 years) experiencing any of the following issues:

  • Relationship difficulties
  • Changing emotions and strong, overwhelming feelings that can make communication difficult
  • Behaviour that sometimes means they are a danger to themselves or others

This workshop is based on the highly successful intervention for families and carers, and is proudly hosted by the UnitingRecovery Family and Carers Mental Health program. Please note that a diagnosis is not important as they key strategies should be helpful for all attendees.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
