Are you interested in being part of a new initiative that assists in providing clothing to homeless and disadvantaged youth? The new Community Wardrobe is a volunteer-led program to provide essential everyday casual, interview & work wear clothing aid every Friday in Blacktown. 

Clients eligible for this service may currently be accessing employment and/or homelessness services via the organisation's programs or may be referred via local community agencies.


  • Setting up the wardrobe in the morning
  • Helping people find items of clothing, sizes etc
  • Ordering and replenishing of stock
  • Supervising other volunteers

You will receive expert training on working with disadvantaged youth. You will also have the ongoing support of Youth/Case workers as well as further training opportunities.

Time Commitment:

Fridays AM/PM, Long term (6 months or more)

Other skill and requirements:

  • Retail experience is desirable
  • Ability to interact and develop rapport with young people - would suit someone in their 20-30s
  • Attend training day on a Saturday in Blacktown prior to starting volunteering.
