Would you love to make a difference in the community by volunteering with a service that assists people to live independently in their own home? An opportunity is available for a volunteer driver for Nutrition Services (formerly known as Meals on Wheels).

Your role will be to drive your own vehicle to transport meals in a timely and efficient manner whilst another volunteer takes the meal/s to the customer's door.

The special camaraderie in the program ensures that volunteers thoroughly enjoy the company of like-minded people, whilst providing an important service to the local community.

Volunteering for Nutrition Services doesn't require a big commitment and the rewards are high. If you have a full driver’s licence, own a comprehensively insured vehicle, are reliable and love helping people, this might be the opportunity for you!

The volunteer must be available Wednesdays or Thursdays, 10.00am to 1.00pm.

Specific requirements

  • National Police Check
  • Driver’s license (car)
  • Reliable car
