A range of specialist homelessness services are available in the Nepean Blue Mountains District to help people at risk of homelessness. For people who are already homeless, the services can will help with access to crisis or transitional accommodation.

Getting It Together is an early intervention brokerage program designed to assist vulnerable young people with alcohol and/or drug problems who live within the Blue Mountains, Penrith, Hawkesbury & Lithgow LGA’s and the Mt Druitt area. The brokerage aims to help young people live self-sufficiently, free of dependence on alcohol and/or drugs.

The Nepean Hoarding and Squalor Program offers support to residents in the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, and Penrith areas to achieve a safe and clean home environment with regular de-cluttering services and once off squalor cleans and/or rubbish removal. Currently there is no waiting list for the service in the Nepean region. Referrals are welcome.
