The City of Parramatta's Cultural Plan Discussion Paper is now available. Council is accepting submissions and community feedback about cultural ambitions for the city over the next five years. The Culture and Our City Discussion Paper can be viewed online and submissions can be made online, by email or by telephone.

The City of Parramatta has launched a new 12-month pilot project to help boost the local music scene after the success of February's inaugural Live and Local event. “Amplify” will enhance live music performance programming within local venues by connecting businesses with musicians and helping them build long-term relationships.

Epping locals are being asked to use their imagination to help shape the future of their community. The Imagine Epping initiative invites residents, workers and visitors of Epping to submit their ideas for improving the public domain in their local area. One contributor will see their idea brought to life through funding of up to $5,000

Premier Gladys Berejiklian has left open the possibility of two Powerhouse museums – one for the city and one for the west – as controversy over the institution's move to Parramatta gathers pace. Appearing on ABC radio, Ms Berejiklian reaffirmed the NSW government's commitment to "a Powerhouse museum"

Assessments & Behaviour Interventions (ABi) is a leading not-for-profit organisation that provides family-focused early intervention and therapy programs for children and young people with a disability and their families. ABi runs training and workshops for both parents and professionals in Seven Hills, as well as via webinars.

Karabi School Holiday Programs

Registrations are now open for the Karabi School Holiday Program for the April school holidays. The activities on offer include a sports day, movie, fun Easter activities, an excursion to the Maritime Museum, Aqua Golf and an excursion to the Penrith Observatory. Sydney Story Factory to open in Parramatta

A new creative writing centre will open in Parramatta in May 2018. The new branch of the Sydney Story Factory will offer free creative writing workshops for young people from throughout Western Sydney. Workshops will run during school hours for school groups, after school, on weekends and during school holidays.

STEM school coming to Western Sydney

The first school in NSW fully devoted to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education is planned for the future Sydney Science Park in Western Sydney.
