The Future2 Make the Difference! Grants program is a national program issuing Grants up to $10,000. Every application must be supported by a licensed financial planner who is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). The application process is:

  1. Identify and make contact with an FPA member to nominate your application
  2. Complete your section of the application form and enter the FPA member details
  3. An email is sent to the FPA member to complete their section of the application form. They must use the login details received in the email

If you do not have an existing contact or relationship with an FPA member, you can still apply for a grant. You can find an FPA member in your area - instructions on the grants information page.

The grants fund:

  • Education, including skills training and leadership development
  • Engagement, including mentoring and juvenile justice programs
  • Employment, including work experience and job readiness training
  • Well-being, including remedial programs for drug and alcohol dependence
  • Independent living, including addressing social exclusion and homelessness

Eligible not-for-profits are:

  • Australian based not-for-profits assisting youth in need, aged between 12-25
  • Charities with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status
  • Registered charities
  • Not for profit organisations (NFPs)
