Accessible Living Options (ALO) has announced its intent to join forces with New Horizons Enterprises Ltd. The agreement aims to provide long-term security for ALO customers and employees, and to provide people in the Central West and Nepean with access to additional services through New Horizons.

A social enterprise and not-for-profit organisation, New Horizons currently provides support services across New South Wales including disability, mental health and aged care.

Cheryl Keogh, Executive Officer of ALO said: “We’re really excited about the opportunities this merger provides. We approached New Horizons about the possibility of a merger back in 2017 in order to secure a positive future for our employees and customers.

“Our customers will continue to receive their support as usual, from the same people as usual, so they shouldn’t notice any difference day-to-day. But now they will also be able to benefit from New Horizons’ exceptional expertise and choice of services.”

ALO expects that all employees and customers will transition to New Horizons.

Judi Higgin, CEO at New Horizons said: “We’re really looking forward to this new chapter in our history and having the opportunity to expand our services into Central West. We’ve been improving people’s wellbeing for more than 50 years and we’re really looking forward to getting to know the people in the region better.”
