An exhibition sharing powerful stories by social housing tenants from across Penrith, Hawkesbury and the Blue Mountains regions.

JOURNEY to Social Housing shares courageous stories from people living in social housing across Penrith, Hawkesbury and the Blue Mountains.

Their messages are clear and powerful - "don't judge us", "it could happen to anyone", "a safety net is vital", "we're just like you"...

Through films, audio stories and photographs they share with us their lives and experiences of journeying to find secure housing for themselves and their families. Battling stigma and negative perceptions of how social housing tenants are seen, they share their stories to help us all understand that having access to housing should be a universal right.
