National Child Protection Summit

Kornar Winmil Yunti is hosting the National Child Protection Summit. The Summit will explore the challenges and best practice solutions and initiatives for the child protection systems throughout Australia.

Guest speakers and workshops will cover key child protection themes such as:

  • Early intervention and prevention
  • Trauma informed practice
  • Out Of Home Care (OOHC) establishing a culturally safe response, inclusive and accountable service system
  • Domestic and family violence and child protection

The Summit will discuss and showcase practical initiatives and generate frank and fearless discussions on the challenges many organisations face in managing child protection systems and seek to find better ways for organisational, community and family engagement strategies and requirements to increase the safety for children across Australia.

You will be joining fellow industry leaders, including people from communities, stakeholders, policy makers, sector experts and related professionals alike.

The agenda will include open discussions and keynote presentations from relevant senior politicians, non-government representatives and community leaders. There will be in depth discussions on major national programs and projects. New and exciting initiatives designed to support workers and families will be presented. Plus lively discussions on risks, challenges and emerging trends will take place during the workshops.
