dta logoFunded by the Australian Government, Dementia Training Australia (DTA) is a consortium of experts in dementia care and workforce training.

Applying a ‘hub and spoke’ model to enable national delivery of training, DTA comprises a network of teams, with leadership provided by six organisations:

  • University of Wollongong (Consortium lead and Central Coordination)
  • Alzheimer’s Australia
  • La Trobe University
  • Queensland University of Technology
  • University of Western Australia
  • Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre (University of Tasmania)

Courses are provided face-to-face and online.
