Community training aims to develop participant’s understanding, skills and confidence in addressing health issues with young people.

The workshop aims to:

Increase understanding of the sexual health needs of young people at risk

  •  Increase knowledge of STIs and Blood-borne viruses and their impact on young people
  •  Establish links between youth workers and local health services
  •  Increase awareness of a range of youth friendly sexual health promotion resources
  •  Increase confidence in incorporating resources into your work with young people

PLEASE NOTE: This is introductory training for those working with young people and therefore may not be suitable for those who work in the Sexual Health sector.

Details and registration form is attached. Completing the registration form is compulsory in registering for this session.  Please use one form per participant.  The closing date for registrations is 18th June 2019. 

A confirmation email will be sent to you by the 25th June 2019 to inform you whether you have been accepted on to the session or if your request has been declined.

Please note that priority is given to those working directly with young people in Western Sydney.
