Are you passionate about social justice? Do you want to help people learn a life skill which will reduce their isolation and loneliness? Then share your digital skills as a digital mentor! An opportunity is available in Auburn for a volunteer digital mentor who is fluent in Cantonese/Mandarin.

Everything is going online; without the skills to use technology, people are becoming more and more excluded from the modern world and all it has to offer. A digital mentor provides one-on-one support to help people learn about technology and use it confidently.

You don’t need to be an IT whiz for this role - you just need an understanding of basic technology skills and some patience! You could be asked to help out on a phone, laptop, tablet or computer. You can make a difference by sharing your knowledge.

Volunteer commitment: Once a week, 9.00am to 11.00am on Fridays
