Are you passionate about enhancing the lives of people living with a disability? Do you have a few hours of time to gift to an event that connects people with disability to product and service providers? The Nepean Disability Expo is a unique community event that will give Nepean residents quality face-to-face time with disability product and service providers,
as well as a range of government agencies and advocacy groups. The event will be held at Penrith Panthers.

Volunteers assist with event management roles including:

  • Registering visitors as they arrive at the Expo
  • Conducting Surveys of participants
  • Vendor surveys
  • Helping put up or take down signs etc
  • Directing people, outdoor meet and great
  • Helping set up / pack away tables/chairs
  • Filling bags, handing out showbags on arrival
  • Helping out with the stage
  • Helping out with social media

When: Volunteers can select suitable day & time:

  • Thursday 13 September - 12.00pm-5.00pm (Exhibition set-up day)
  • Friday 14 September - 8.00am-4.00pm
  • Saturday 15 September - 8.00am-4.00pm

Volunteers are provided with: Disability Expo Volunteer T-Shirt, lunch, water, tea and coffee.

Please wear comfortable shoes, smart jeans or chinos, and bring a long sleeve black top you can wear under your T-shirt if it gets cool.
