Are you looking to use your administration skills meaningfully in a project-based role? An opportunity is available to volunteer with an organisation that enhances the quality of life of young people and families in St Marys.

As an Office Administration Project volunteer, you will be working on a project-basis to bring administration systems up to date with a new electronic environment.

Office administration volunteers are customer focused, friendly, proactive and professional. You will be assisting with organisational, personnel, volunteer, donor and supplier information so confidentiality and experience is essential.

Days are flexible (weekdays); 3-6 months' commitment. Volunteer shifts can be within school hours. Will also suit those travelling by public transport as located conveniently at the transport hub in St Marys.

Requirements: Working with Children Check, National Police Check

Criteria:

  • Confident in administrative skills, sending/receiving emails, doing data entry and using the internet
  • Friendly, approachable, conversational
  • Patient, good listening skills
  • Reliable, responsible and able to work independently to an agreed project plan
  • Respectful of privacy and personal information
  • Willingness to attend in-house volunteer training as required
