Are you looking to develop your administration skills in an environment that makes a significant impact in the local community? An opportunity is available for a volunteer with administrative skills to work with an organisation that enhances the quality of life of local young people and families by providing activities, support and assistance.

As an Office Administration Assistant volunteer, you will be the first point of contact for the organisation, answering the phone, handling enquiries and undertaking day-to-day administrative duties.

Office Administration Assistant volunteers are customer focused, friendly, proactive and professional. Tasks include answering general enquiries, data entry and other administrative tasks as required.

This volunteer role also provides an optional opportunity to participate in free professional development training .

Days are flexible (weekdays); 6 months+ commitment. Volunteer shifts start in the morning, with a 4.00pm finish, but flexible, depending on circumstances.

Requirements: Working with Children Check, National Police Check.


  • Confident in basic office administration, sending/receiving emails, doing data entry and using the internet
  • Friendly, approachable, conversational
  • Patient, good listening skills
  • Reliable and responsible
  • Respectful of privacy and personal information
  • Willingness to attend volunteer training as required
