Are you passionate about raising funds to support asylum seekers and refugees? The Raffle Coordinator constructs a 'telephone tree' of existing members which will recruit raffle ticket sellers. The Raffle Coordinator will report to an experienced fundraiser and liaise with another volunteer who is highly skilled in databases and community work. 

The annual raffle generates income to support households who've been cut off from any government subsidy and are experiencing extreme poverty. The organisation is currently supporting 51 households and some single people. Money is provided for rent assistance, food, school supplies and other essential items.

There is a requirement to join as a member ($20 p.a or $15 concession).

The volunteer role starts in March and peaks mid-year. Other tasks are also available for a keen volunteer. For those who are volunteering as a pathway to employment will be supported and provided with a reference. Days flexible, to be discussed with volunteer manager.
