Karabi Community & Development Servics Inc is governed by a Management Committee comprising a number of volunteers from the local community and non-government (NGO) sector. The role of the Management Committee (MC) is to oversee, and ultimately be responsible for the efficient, effective and accountable management of the organisation within the approved budget and in accordance with funding and legal requirements and stated objectives.

Karabi serves the communities of Wentworthville, Constitution Hill, and Toongabbie/Seven Hills and surrounding areas targeting frail aged, people with disabilities, young people, children, families, indigenous, CALD and local communities.

Key responsibilities of the MC are to ensure a level of leadership and vision that will direct the operations and planning of the organisation and that accountability is ensured to its members, the community, stakeholders and funding bodies through compliance to ethical and legal requirements. Current members have expertise in Family and Children, Community Development, Governance and financial services.

The committee is seeking applications from interested persons with one or more of the skills listed in the document below. People with disabilities and from differing cultural backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
