Fairfield City Council is calling on the Greater Sydney Commission to better recognise the strategic role of the City’s town centres and prioritise investigation of transport proposals. Council’s submission to the Greater Sydney Commission on the draft Western City District Plan makes a number of recommendations.

PYT Fairfield 2018 Program

PYT Fairfield’s 2018 program is now available online, featuring a variety of innovative and engaging productions. First in the year’s schedule is ‘Tribunal’, which will interrogate and explore notions of truth and lies around the labels of ‘refugee’ and ‘asylum-seeker’.

Disability Peer Mentor Training

Team Up supports peer networks of people with disability in NSW. Their free training programs aim to help people learn more about peer support. They are offering two training programs in Western Sydney in early 2018, a 4-day program focused on one-to-one peer mentoring and a 2-day introductory peer facilitator program.
