Lady on tablet

A new aged care start-up could help elderly people become more digitally literate and less socially excluded. The organisation, Conpago, creates tablets, software and even robots to assist the elderly in their homes and in aged care facilities.

The aim of this technology is to connect elderly people to their family, friends and care workers. The tablet-like device includes various functions including voice and text messaging, medication schedules, opportunities for community engagement and news/radio apps.

The technology also aims to assist aged care workers to better support clients, as the device allows elderly people to contact their care personnel remotely.
