Woman on hospital bed being treated by doctor

A number of services have been relocated from the Mudgee Community Health Building to make way for the hospital's $70.2M redevelopment.

The new hospital will provide a much needed upgrade to Mudgee's existing health services, as well as introducing contemporary facilities with a focus on integrated models of health care.

Mudgee has an ageing population, with 33.7% of residents aged over 50 years. The new hospital will provide more beds, better technologies and greater accessibility for both patients and visitors.

The design concepts and artist impressions of the new hospital can be found here.
