Would you love to bring a smile to someone's face by helping people feel connected and valued with a simple home visit?

An opportunity to provide companionship and support to elderly people aged over 65 by visiting them in their own homes. Clients are community members that might not have regular contact with friends and/or relatives and who are experiencing loneliness or social isolation.

Social support volunteering is a great way to help make a real difference in people’s lives by helping them reconnect, socialise and feel valued. Volunteers are matched to clients with common interests/personality or background and meet with them each week or fortnight. The visits are intended to be relaxed and social in nature and may include listening to music together, playing cards/board games, reminiscing or simply having a chat.

As a requirement of this role volunteers must undergo a National Police Check which is arranged and covered by the organisation.
