The organisation offers accessible and affordable transport solutions for transport disadvantaged, frail aged or younger people with disabilities in the Parramatta and Cumberland council areas. The Committee meets once a month, in the morning, at the office in Northmead.

Treasurer responsibilities:

  • to work closely with the Financial Administrator to improve financial performance and the sustainability of the organisation
  • financial management of the organisation
  • ensure payments due to, or by, the organisation are paid
  • ensure financial records are kept correctly
  • ensure the organisation is working within an agreed financial plan

Requirements:

  •              National Police Clearance

This role is suitable to someone with strong financial qualification and experience such as a retired accountant.

  •              Be passionate about the organization’s mission and vision and what it does.
  •              Act with integrity and honesty at all times in the best interest of the organization.
  •              Ability to bring fresh ideas on the table and suggest strategies to improve the organization’s financial performance.
  •              Prior leadership experience in the community sector is desirable.
